Quantum Energy Group delivers glass and glazing across the Pacific Northwest for multifamily, condominium, single-family, and commercial clients. The company traces its roots to a business Kate Gralton founded in 2019 (formerly Aviatrix), which became Quantum Energy Group LLC in fall 2025 with a sharpened focus on commercial glazing and related general contracting capabilities across Western Washington—backed by her 18+ years in complex construction and service businesses. We combine technical expertise with a commitment to quality and schedule — the same standards the region's leading contractors demand.
As a certified Women-Owned Business (WBE), we bring diversity and capability to every project. Our team is trained on the latest installation practices, safety protocols, and energy-efficient systems. We are a PSE Trade Ally and members of the Washington Glass Association and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
Much of our early pipeline came through the PSE Trade Ally program — real leads and conversations with owners and efficiency-focused work across the region. Washington State WBE certification is a recent milestone, and it has already opened doors with major general contractors. We are actively estimating and bidding, including opportunities with firms such as GLY Construction, Clark Construction, and Skanska. In the interest of transparency: we have not yet been awarded a project with those contractors; certification is new, proposals are in motion, and we are working to turn that interest into partnered work. From curtain wall and storefronts to energy services, windows, and custom glazing, we also support condo associations, developers, and homeowners with residential glazing needs.

Katherine ("Kate") Gralton — Founder & Owner
Kate Gralton brings more than 18 years of experience in construction, roofing, and general contracting to every project Quantum Energy Group takes on. She is a cross-functional leader with a track record of driving margin growth, building lasting client relationships, and delivering complex projects on time and on budget.
Kate founded the business in March 2019 under the name Aviatrix. In fall 2025, it became Quantum Energy Group LLC — expanding into commercial general contracting and combining her deep background in roofing with end-to-end capabilities for new construction and existing buildings across Western Washington. The company is a certified Women-Owned Business (WBE). For years, PSE Trade Ally status helped bring in leads; after WBE certification, large regional GCs began seeking her out for bids and teaming discussions — including GLY Construction, Clark Construction, and Skanska. She is upfront that no work with those firms has been awarded yet: the credential is fresh, bids are live, and the goal is to convert that momentum into executed projects.
She leads from the field as much as the office — bidding, estimating, and directly managing a twelve-person installation team while running the full sales cycle from prospecting through project completion. Under her leadership, the company has built disciplined operating systems across finance, estimating, project management, and field operations, with standardized workflows for job costing, WIP reporting, and project closeout. Weekly scorecards, monthly reviews, and real-time dashboards keep every project and crew accountable.
Before Quantum Energy Group, Kate co-founded three businesses: Morningstar Montessori Academy in Milwaukee, where she also served as general contractor on a six-month school construction project; Redbird Infrared, a first-to-market aerial thermal imaging company for commercial roofing diagnostics; and Weather Sealing Systems, which she scaled from zero to twenty employees and $2.5M in annual revenue before its acquisition by Roofed Right America.
Kate holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in Supply Chain and Operations and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where she received the Business Plan Award of the Year in 2011. She is a licensed thermographer, a private pilot, and an active member of WACAI (Washington State Chapter). Quantum Energy Group is a PSE Trade Ally.
